L.A. producers Glitch Mob slice and dice in pure audio warfare

The Glitch Mob — Los Angeles producers who individually go by Boreta, edIT, Kraddy, and Ooah — look unassuming enough standing behind their laptops. But their electro/hip-hop slicing and dicing is pure armed audio warfare, mixing original beats and productions with familiar rap vocals. The crew arrives in San Francisco after holding a contest for a local opener: Fans submitted MP3s of their music or DJing to Glitch Mob's Web site. The winner was undecided as of press time, but it'll just add yet another element of surprise when Glitch Mob performs live on Friday, May 9, at Mighty at 9 p.m. Admission is $18; call 762-0151 or visit www.mighty119.com.
